He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Christine Howell Gordon; his children, James David Gordon, Jr. (Cindy), Joseph Howard Gordon (Shannon) and Julie Gordon (Paul Wefald); and his grandsons, Kristopher Lane Hague, Jackson Wesley Gordon and Carter "Duck" James Gordon.
