James Ira Sivley Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Ira Sivley of Decatur, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Sivley and Effie Sivley; his son James; and his grandson Joseph "JJ" Moore. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Sivley (Hanson); his children, Karen Smith, Frank Sivley (Vanessa), John Sivley (Karen), Kennith Sivley and Laura Sivley; and his brother Larry Sivley (Elizabeth). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, family requests that donations be made to Hospice of the Valley.
