He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Frank Ward and Essie Allen Ward; his wife Christene "Cricket" Sullins Ward; his daughter Debra Ann Ward; his brother Barney Ward; and his grandmother LydiaBeth Livingston.
He is survived by: his son Danny Ward (Terri); his siblings, Ray Ward Paul Ward (Tawana), Doris Ingram, June Ward and Barbara Ward; his grandchildren, Dusti McLatry (Adam), Kimm Livingston (Susanne), James Wesley Ward (Lucy), Brittany Templeton (Easton), Shannon Ward (Tiffani Nelson) and Patrick Livingston (Maegan); and his great grandchildren, James Houston Livingston, Ella-Kate Hosch, Elli Daniel Hosch, Leona Christene Ward, Jordan Keene Tucker, Hunter Templeton Maxtree and Layne.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Walnut Grove Baptist Church (622 S Bethel Rd, Decatur, AL 35603). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
