It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Walker Stewart of Decatur, Alabama, who passed away on March 31, 2024, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Lara Stewart Mayfield (Joe) and Kobey Stewart; his grandson Lucian Mayfield; his parents, Carolyn Sears (Daryl) and Greg Stewart (Carla); his siblings, Kayla Nunn and Blake Stewart; his grandmother Joyce Stewart Smith (Charlie); his niece Kahlaysia; his stepdaughter Ashlynn Midkiff; and his grandparents, Gerald, Ellease Hayes and James Leldon Stewart. He was also cherished by Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any animal shelter or rescue of your choice.
