With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Marie Appleton of Decatur, Alabama, who passed away on July 18, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Melvyn Appleton; her sister Elizabeth Sullins; her siblings-in-law, PeggyMcCulloch and Charles "Doug" Sullins; and her son-in-law Phillip Sampley.
She is survived by: her brother Charles McCulloch (Susan); her children, Johnna StaceyAppleton Sampley and Michael Appleton (Tonya); and her grandchildren, Tyler Sampleyand (Ann Marie) and Kaitlyn Appleton.
In lieu of flowers Janet requested donations to Deer Springs Baptist Church, Hospice ofthe Valley or any other charity of your choosing.
