He was predeceased by: his son Adam Willingham; and his parents, Jack Willingham and Helen Willingham. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Adkins Willingham; his son Mitchell Willingham (Brittany) of Decatur; his grandchildren, Hayven, Adam and Levi; and his sister Joni Willingham Clark (Dennis). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Bible Church or the Neighborhood Christian Center.
