He is survived by: his wife Linda Thompson; his children, Kimberely Thompson and Melinda Thompson Mumpower (Jeff); his grandchildren, Noah Z. Thompson (Anya) and Elizabeth Grace Thompson; his great grandchild Eliana Grace Thompson; and his brothers, Nolan D. Thompson (Joyce) and Daren R. Thompson.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Burningtree Memorial Gardens (4919 Marsha Ave, Decatur, AL 35603).
