He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Newbill and Audry Newbill. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Shumake Newbill; his daughter Mary Beth Newbill Spraul; his son-in-law Anton Spraul; his granddaughter Madeline Spraul; and his sister-in-law Diane Dublin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, Presbyterian Home for Children, or a charity of your choice.
