He was predeceased by: his parents, John Harvey Allen and Etta Sanders Allen; his son Johnny Randall Allen; his siblings, Max Allen, Harvene Vandergrift (Austin), Faye Ingle (Donald) and Kathleen Head (James); and his son-in-law Tony Ray King.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Naylor Allen; his children, John W. H. Allen (Derrell), Peggy JoAnn King, Joyce Ann Smith (Randall), Juanita Mobley (Lonnie), Randi Allen and Kristy Allen Perry; and his grandchildren, Dominick Baumbarger, Jacob Cockrell (Kimberly), Meghan Cockrell, Shyanne Allen and Nevaeh Allen. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
