He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Bethune Daniel and Marcus Benjamin Erwin. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Long Erwin; his children, Laura Erwin Watts (Barry) and Scott Marcus Erwin (Michelle); his grandchildren, Sarah Beth Watts, Ashley Erwin Clarke (Stephen), Samuel Watts, Christopher Erwin (Marissa) and Rebekah Watts; and his sisters, Ann Daniel Inzer (Jim) and Katherine Erwin Hopkins (Mike). He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Neighborhood Christian Center in Decatur Missionary Fund at First Bible Church of Decatur, or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
