He was predeceased by: his parents, James Owens and Irene Owens; and his brother Charles Owens. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Owens; his daughters, Michelle Owens and Holly Murphy (Clint); his grandchildren, Zach Mangum, Joe Mangum, Alyssa Owens, Harlow Murphy, Melrose Murphy and Dove Murphy; and his great grandchild Helena Mangum.
