He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie G. Collins and Aline Collins; his siblings, Alton "Toonie" Collins, Raymond Collins and Charlene Crowe; and his father-in-law W. H. Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Denise Carter Collins; his sons, Jason Collins (Maria), James Milligan (Melody) and Zack Motley; his sisters, Carolyn Spinoso (Jim) and Linda Gail Compton; his grandchildren, Micah Collins and Vera Collins; his brothers-in-law, Eugene Carter (Tish) and Phillip Carter; and his mother-in-law Helen Carter. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Charles Williams (461 US-278, Cullman, AL 35055). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
