Linda leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Linda’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Linda will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Audrey Ray Cobb and Katherine Melba Cobb; and her brother Kenneth Wayne Cobb. She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Gail Wood and Tina Davis (Steve); her siblings, Mary Bontrager and Gary Cobb; her grandsons, Justin Martindale Danielle (Liz) and Trevor Davis; and her great grandchildren, Kallie Martindale and Jeffrey Alexander.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel (2105 Beltline Rd SW, Decatur, AL 35601). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
