She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Basil Kuhn and Pearl Means Kuhn; her husband William R. House; her great grandchildren, Layla and David House; her sister Marilyn; and her brother-in-law Kenneth Wiesehan.

She is survived by: her children, William C. House of Huntsville, Kenneth A. House (Rebecca) of Decatur, James F. House (Kay) of Birmingham, Thomas J. House (Deborah) of Decatur and Elizabeth J. Orr (Edward) of Huntsville; her grandchildren, William L. House (Haille) of Raleigh, N. C., Lucy White (John David) of Tallahassee, Fla., Jennifer Owen (Jonathan) of Huntsville, Claudia Hinton (Jeremy) of Birmingham and David A.; her nephew Frank W. Wiesehan (Jane) of San Antonio; and her nieces, Kennette Ries (Jerry) of Gilbert and Ariz (Laura Wiesehan Klinck).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church Decatur missions.
