He was predeceased by: his parents, Dyke Hudson Gillespie and Reba Manathy Gillespie; his grandparents, J. R. and Lorena Gillespie; and his siblings, Norman Gillespie and Lucy Gillespie Mason.
He is survived by: his sister Shirley Gillespie Leopard.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Caddo Cemetery.
