She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaines Hyatt and Ora Hyatt; and her husband Rev. Martin Chenault. She is survived by: her sons, Marty Chenault (Susan), Myron Chenault (Karen) and Phillip Chenault (Lisa); and her grandchildren, Nathaniel Goodwin (Sarah), Sarah Chenault, William Chenault and Olivia Chenault. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made to Alabama Baptist Children's Home.
