She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaines Hyatt and Ora Hyatt; and her husband Rev. Martin Chenault. She is survived by: her sons, Marty Chenault (Susan), Myron Chenault (Karen) and Phillip Chenault (Lisa); and her grandchildren, Nathaniel Goodwin (Sarah), Sarah Chenault, William Chenault and Olivia Chenault. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Roselawn Funeral Home (741 Danville Rd SW, Decatur, AL 35601). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of the Funeral Home (322 US-31, Athens, AL 35611).
In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made to Alabama Baptist Children's Home.
