She was predeceased by: her parents, Druid Jarrett and Eva Steele Jarrett; her husband Edgar Russeau Lamar; her siblings, Reba Garner, Geraldine King and Bobby Ray Jarrett; and her brothers-in-law, Marvin Garner and Conrad King.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Claborn (Jason) of Decatur and Daniel Russeau Lamar (Chauna); her brother Charles Jarrett (Jan); and her grandchildren, Abbey Claborn, Erin Colmenero (Ethan), Kaigan Parks (Connor) and Wyatt Lamar. She is also survived by great-grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Alzheimer's Association.
