He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carl Cartee and Lois Lancaster Cartee; and his brother Ted Cartee. He is survived by: his wife Jean Rush Cartee; his children, Kane Cartee (Sarah), Brent Sapp (Amanda), Crystal Cartee and Jeana Goodwin (Ron); his son-in-law Israel Martinez; and his siblings, Steve Cartee, Jonny Cartee and Denise Cartee Cooper (Harper).
