She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Edward Rigel and Daisy Ezma Rigel; her former husband W. Lonnie Weaver Sr.; her husband Lakin Garnett; and her son Edward Harrison Weaver.

She is survived by: her son Lonnie Weaver Jr. (Sandra) of Decatur; her grandchildren, Wendye Eady (Brandon) of Decatur, Dawn Montgomery (Trai) of Decatur and Mike Weaver (Emily) of Charlotte, NC; and her great grandchildren, Drake Montgomery, Dylan Montgomery, Jordan Terry (Eady), Tyler Eady, Jena Eady and Jack Weaver.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mildred's memory to Central Baptist Church of Decatur.
