He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Newton Powell, II and Della Clark Powell. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Wilber Powell; and his children, Miles T. Powell, Jr. (Isabel) of Salida, CO, Mary Ann Mays Athens (John) and Janet Compton Decatur (Tommy). He is also survived by Six Grandchildren and Seven Great Grandchildren.
