She was predeceased by: her parents, George Nelson and Lousiana Nelson; her husband Cashin Wheeler Sr.; her sons, Cashin "Tim" Wheeler Jr., Clarkton "Cadillac" Wheeler and George "Chee-Chee" Wheeler; and her siblings, Ola Mae Montgomery, Hettie Goodloe, Lou Howard Bouldin, George Nelson, Eddie Nelson and Leo Nelson.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Wheeler; her grandsons, Antoinne Wheeler and Cassiaus Wheeler; her godsons, James Stegall and Hurley Rice; and her grandchildren, Tanitia, Christopher, Crystal, Cassidy, Cashin III (Natasha), Courtney, Carlos, Kristen, Tiffany, Lindsay, Fortune, Devonte and Lendez. She is also survived by her family and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Westside M. B. Church (909 4th St NW, Decatur, AL 35601). A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
