She was predeceased by: her parents, John Aldridge and Mary Sullivan Aldridge; her husband Doug Cox; and her sister Joyce Stanley. She is survived by: her sons, Griffin Cox (Alex) and Will Cox; her siblings, Michael Aldridge (Sandy) and Susan Kirby (Rick); and her grandsons, Charles and Andrew Cox. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Shelton Funeral Home (2105 Beltline Rd SW, Decatur, AL 35601). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at the Burningtree Memorial Gardens (4919 Marsha Ave, Decatur, AL 35603).
