She is survived by: her daughter Ashley Alverson Handley of Vestavia Hills; her sister Marilyn Meyer Cox of Crane Hill, Alabama.; and her friends, Annette Brewer, Sandra Collier, Melodie Taylor and Lynne Thomas.
