She was predeceased by: her husband Herschel Hood; her parents, John Powers and Thelma Powers; and her brother Dan Powers. She is survived by: her daughters, Kristie Jane Cummins (Tim) and Karen Hood Bogue (Clay); her grandchildren, Mackenzie Bogue, Landon Bogue, Madelyn Forrester and Abigail Cummins; her sisters, Jane Powers (Roy), Trish Powers MacDonell (Len) and Kathy Powers; her niece Hilary Varner; and her nephews, Derek MacDonell, Chris Keil and John Powers II.
