He is survived by: his wife Linda Dempsey (Henderson); his son William Jason Dempsey (Meagan); his siblings, Bo Dempsey (Laura), Grady Dempsey, Robert Dempsey (Norma), Charlotte Storie (Charles) and Donna Head (Jim); and his grandson William Bryant Dempsey.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Parkway Funeral Home (23599 AL-24, Trinity, AL 35673). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
