She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Patterson and Artry Patterson Baker; and her husband Charles Champion. She is survived by: her children, Paula Weldon (Neil) and Phillip Haynes (Jennifer Johnson); her brother Rev. Jerry Patterson; and her grandsons, Paul Massa (Elizabeth), Christopher Massa (Aiden) and Michael Massa (Jessie King Massa).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gray Brown-Service Mortuary (1329 Wilmer Ave, Anniston, AL 36201). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
