With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ann Pruitt Jackson of Demopolis, Alabama, who passed away on June 8, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Ola Catherine "Chug" Griffith Pruitt; her former husband Robert Charles "Bobby" Jackson, Jr.; her father Elmer Francis Pruitt; and her in-laws, R. C. Jackson and Charlotte Sue Carter Jackson.
She is survived by: her husband Avon of Bobby's Bakes; her daughters, Ola Frances Studdard (Jay) and Martha Charlene Jackson-Dobbs (Idris); her sister Ola Pruitt Ross; her sisters-in-law, Judy Jackson Ross (Larry) and Peggy Jackson Holcombe (Jerry); her grandchildren, Chanci Culp (Matt), Jake Studdard, Breyanne Dobbs, Seth Dobbs, Isabella Dobbs and Rex Dobbs; her great grandchildren, Reina and Phoenix Culp; her nieces and nephews, Janis Grace, April Hopkins (Jerry), Jerry Ross, Chris Ross (Megan), Lolly Davidson (Jeff) and Sommer Lunceford; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jack Rice, Caroline Davidson, Carter Lunceford, Rabe Ross, Caty Davidson, Jack Lunceford and Charlotte Ross.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (109 S Strawberry Ave, Demopolis, AL 36732). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
