He was loved and cherished by many people including: wife: Heather Tanner Lyons; children: Tanner Lindsey Lyons and David Harrison Lyons, Jr.; parents: Barbara Branum Lyons and John Thomas Lyons; brothers: Timothy Randall Lyons (Fran) and John Michael Lyons (Deanna); father-in-law: Michael Jean Tanner; brothers-in-law: Lee Tanner (Catherine) and Brandon Tanner; mother-in-law: Gloria Lindsey Tanner; and nine nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Roselawn Funeral Home (741 Danville Rd SW, Decatur, AL 35601). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
David was a passionate advocate for organ donation and was peacefully able to give the final, precious gift of life to so many in need.
