He was predeceased by: his former wife Harriet Witherspoon (Stewart); his parents, Clarence Witherspoon and Nina May Witherspoon (High); and his siblings, Bobby Witherspoon, Jimmy Witherspoon, Mary Hamilton (Witherspoon), Richard Witherspoon, Sue Carroll Witherspoon and Sidney Witherspoon.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Huckabee of Kimbrough. He is also survived by two children, and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Fairhaven Baptist Church (1504 Cardinal St, Demopolis, AL 36732). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
