With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dollene Bowen Russell of Dora, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 26, 2025 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bowen and Estelle Bowen; and her husband P. M. "Mac" Russell, Jr.. She is survived by: her sister Patricia Yarborough; her sons, Roger Russell (Janet), Rodney Russell (Sylvia) and Ronald Russell (Tia); her grandchildren, Eric, Michelle, Sarah, Peter, Ryan, Rebecca and Rachel; and her great grandchildren, Maverick, Everitt, Seger, Ridley, Callum and Cooper.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Crestview Funeral Home (5250 Veterans Memorial Dr, Adamsville, AL 35005). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Crestview Memorial Funeral Home (5250 Veterans Memorial Dr, Adamsville, AL 35005). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at the Elmwood Cemetery (600 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Birmingham, AL 35211).
