She was predeceased by: her father Ewell William Johnson; her husband John William Kavanaugh, Jr.; her son John William Kavanaugh V; and her brother James Arthur Johnson. She is survived by: her daughter Amanda Jackson (Chris) of Florence, Alabama; her grandsons, Nicholas Kavanaugh, Austin Jackson and John Cooper Jackson; and her brother Allen Kenneth Johnson (Levene) of Newton.
