She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Dewey Wilson and Nannie Elizabeth Dixon Wilson; her husband Charles Arnold Swallows; her sister Carliene Dollar; her brother-in-law E. Floyd Dollar; and her sister Margie Lee Beal.
She is survived by: her daughter Alicia Cox (Rutledge); her granddaughters, Lauren Cox and Courtney Cox (Graham Bolton); her niece Beth Martinez (Rick); her nephew Bob Dollar (Anna); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ashleigh Martinez, Anna Maria Varnell, Melissa Young, Stephen Martinez (Meaghan), Brandon Dollar, Eric Dollar and Melvin Whitehead (Lori).
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Dothan (1380 W Main St, Dothan, AL 36301). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at the Memory Hill Cemetery (2414 Hartford Hwy, Dothan, AL 36305).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Department at First United Methodist Church of Dothan, the Church Party Program at FUMC of Dothan, or the Humane Society of Dothan.
