He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie C. Metcalf and Maude Evelyn Smith Metcalf; his daughter-in-law Jan Metcalf; and his sisters, Elizabeth M. Raines and Barbara M. Harden.
He is survived by: his wife Myra Cameron Metcalf; his children, Cameron A. Metcalf (Beth), Jeffrey M. Metcalf and Dena Metcalf Malugen (Joe); and his grandchildren, Anna M. Stinchcum (David), Abby M. Sheff (Sean), Audrey M. Meuleman (Shannon), Connor D. Metcalf, Jeslyn M. Nicodemus (Luke), Jared M. Metcalf, Charles T. Malugen, Jackson H. Malugen, Connor A. Metcalf and Clifton Smith. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
