With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jean Brown of Dothan, Alabama, who passed away on February 23, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her daughter Cassandra Gail Brown (Roderick Brown); her brothers, James Edward Koonce and Foy "Billy Jack" Koonce; and her sister-in-law Eva Koonce. She is survived by : her family Betty; her son Roderick D. Brown of Dothan, Ala.; her granddaughter Alliyah Kassandra Brown; her sister-in-law Mildred Koonce; and also Valerie Jackson-Brown of Dothan, Ala.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friend.
