She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie Cain and Elbert Cain; her stepmother Mollie Ruth Marshall Cain; her brothers, Paul Cain and Tommy Cain; her husbands, Robert Pitcher Sr. and Wayne Prentice; and her daughter Donna Gerstner.
She is survived by: her son Robert Pitcher Jr. (Nanette); her grandchildren, Kim Pauga, Brad Gerstner (Emily), Paul Gerstner (Joanna), Sherry Pitcher Kaelin (Matthew) and Alan Pitcher; and her stepchildren, Brad Prentice (Jan) and Pam Hundley (Daniel). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Harvest Church (2727 Fortner St, Dothan, AL 36305). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
