He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Albert and Eathel Roxy Hitson Head; and his siblings, Lovie Hughes, Mary Sexton, Verna Mae Thomas, Nan Graves, Joseph, James and Wayne Head.

He is survived by: his wife Gail Head; his daughters, Laura Adkison (Steven) and Krista Brown (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Casey Creel, Emily Hobbs, Madison Hobbs and Everlong Brown; and his great grandchild Ethan Stewart.
