He was predeceased by: his father D. H. Sallas; his wife Roberta Sallas; and his sister Lenora Lewis. He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Boyle (Bob), Gale Gray (Randall) and Elizabeth Whitfield (Russ); and his grandchildren, Marc Hall (Christy), Courtney Foley (James), Jessica Hutchings (Michael), Daniel Whitfield (Lynn) and Dustin Whitfield (Brandi). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
