Carolyn Barnette Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn Barnette of Dothan, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, C. J. Looke, Jr. and Barbara Denard Looke; her daughter Ramona Barnette Goetz; her husband Jim Barnette; her child Chris Barnette; and her grandson Clay Clark.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carole Lynn Barnette, Debbie Barnette Park (Bobby) and Barbara Barnette; her grandchildren, Lauren Park Donofrio, Allie Park Singleton (Kevin), Brantley Barnette Park (Judith), Mary Melissa Barnette Nations (Sheldon), Fitz Lee Jr., Cassie Clark Hovey (Cade), Courtney Clark (Tim Jones), Caitlyn Clark, Nicole Elizabeth Goetz, Gabriela Emily Goetz and Alexander William Goetz; and her siblings, Susan Lorms and Jim Looke. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, several cousins and dear friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Green Hills Funeral Home (1621 US-29, Troy, AL 36079).
