She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford Brown and Eva Shiver Brown; her son Randy Carl Watkins; her husbands, Jimmy Hughes and David Taylor; and her siblings, Diane May, Margie Crawford, Phyllis Hall and Herdis Brown.
She is survived by: her son Christopher Watkins (Kristy); her grandchildren, Jamie Carr, Cliff Watkins (Heather), Karla Castillo, Hunter Watkins, Shelby Watkins Ikarrain and Christopher Watkins; her great grandchildren, Kynlee Watkins, Karley Watkins, Keegan Watkins and Kenzie Watkins; and her sister Glenda Faye Brown Bowers. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
A graveside service was held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Malvern Baptist Church Cemetery (161 Church St, Slocomb, AL 36375).
