We are sad to announce that on September 7, 2023, at the age of 88, Carolyn Joice Hammond of Dothan, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Spivey and Evey Hagler Spivey; her sons, James Woodard and Robert Woodard; her sisters, Shirley Ann Lingerfelt and Mary Harris; and her granddaughter Tina Hill.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Helms, Donna Hill Dykes, Kathy Thompson and Steven Woodard; her sister Sara Elswick; and her grandchildren, Rodney Helms, Rhonda Helms, Kim Hill, Kevin Thompson, Matthew Woodard, Stephene Woodard, Nicholas Woodard, Dustin Hill and Derek Hill. She is also survived by thirty great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
