She is survived by: her son Ronnie Kirkland; her grandson O'Sean Saffold; her children, Yvonne Kirkland of Ashford, Deborah Kirkland Saffold (Arthur) of Cowarts, Lisa Kirkland and Fredrick Kirkland of Ashford, Alabama; her nieces and nephews, Steve, Lamar Black of Dothan, Alabama, Amy King and Jadauia (David Stewart); her grandchildren, Wanikee Kirkland of Ashford, Arlesh Safford of Cowarts, Justin Kirkland of Tennessee, Alexandria Paige Turner and Anyl'Jawan Fields (Nacho); her godchildren, Brenda Turner (Willie Ray), Cedric Graham Shawn Gilford and Justice (Dontae) of Atlanta, Georgia; her parents-in-law, Jerome Grubbs (Corene), Wade Grubbs (Luvone), Gwendolyn Crittenton (Lynwood) and Kathy Hardrick; her close friend Alene McCree; and her sister Mary Charles McCray. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
