She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jessie Silas Simmons, Jr. and Hartie Jane Windham; her husband Patrick Michael Oakley; her sons, Tony Oakley (Sherrie) and David Oakley (Wendy); her grandchildren, Katherine Oakley Olson (Luke), Alexander Lucas Oakley (Madeline), Emma Ashton Oakley, Olivia Arden Oakley and William Addison Oakley; and her great grandchildren, Eleanor Jane Olson, Charlie Oakley and Jack Oakley.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Southside Baptist Church (423 E Cottonwood Rd, Dothan, AL 36301). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
