She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Wimes; her mother Carrie A. Truett; her grandfather Andrew Jackson; and her father Danny Owens. She is survived by: her aunt Cynt; her children, Zakiya Nicole Wimes, Frank Zacchaeus Wimes and Katrina Kelley (Jeremie); her grandchildren, Paul Butler, Mya Brooks, Synia Minnifield, Kameron Head, Marlon Thompson, Christopher Wimes, Sean Wimes, Zah'Niyia Wimes, Malcolm Parson, Harlyn Person, Kerrington Smith and Ja'Keira Kelley; and her great grandchild Kali Head. She is also survived by six brothers; eleven sisters; an uncle, aunts, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law, other relatives, and a special group of friends.
