She was predeceased by: her parents, Zinnie Bowers Gaskins and John David Gaskins; her children, Rickey Alday and Donna Kay Alday; her son-in-law Rickie Thompson; and her siblings, John David Gaskins, Josephine Avrett, Beatrice Braddock, Zinnie Mae Sacra, Margret Gaskins and Juanita Newsom.
She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Elmer Turnham; her children, Richard Thomas Alday (Louise), Ronnie E. Turnham, Jr. and Glenda Ann Thompson; and her sister Mary Louise Yarberry. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.
