He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Gordon; his parents, James Gordon and Mary Ruth Hopper Gordon; and his siblings, Jack, Robert Neil, Lester and Martha Gordon Gray.
He is survived by: his children, David Eugene Gordon (Sherri) of Dothan, Cynthia Kaye Gordon Clark, Mary Gordon Mansfield of Virginia and Susan Diane Gordon Morgan (Spencer) of Vidalia, Georgia.; his grandchildren, Kara Clark DeLoney, Chase Clark, Brandon Ray (Sadie), Kaitlyn Morgan Macker (Andrew), Caroline Gordon Moore (Devin) and Dozier Gordon; his great grandchildren, Logan, Peyton, Ean, Noah, Emery, Emma, Jack, Lottie, Edie and Shep; his sister Marguerite Gordon Govoni; and his grandsons, Chancellor, Price, Wise, Logan and Peyton.
