She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Mathews and Margaret Mathews; and her son James Patrick Yancey. She is survived by: her son Jeffery Yancey; her grandchildren, Harley Vasquez (Allister), James Spencer Yancey II and James Patrick Yancey, Jr.; and her great grandchild Cecilia Vasquez. She is also survived by five sisters; several nieces and nephews; and other extended family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Burns Assembly of God Church Cemetery.
