It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Leon Hawkins of Dothan, Alabama, born in Pekin, Illinois, who passed away on October 14, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Steve and Melody. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hawkins; his daughters, Lynn Reece (Steve) of Homossassa, Florida, Lori Furr (Corley) of Dothan, Alabama and Teri Morris (Tommy) of Ashford, Alabama; his grandchildren, Brittany Hare (Jacob), Denise Reece, Kristen Sale (Christopher) of Kayla Furr, T. J, Morris, Anna Brooke Morris, Luke Morris and Kamryn Furr; his great grandchildren, Parker Sale and Jude Hawkins Sale; and his sisters, Sharon Williams of Dothan, Alabama. and Deborah Otterson of Dothan, Alabama..
