He was predeceased by: his father Tony Douglas; his grandparents, Woodrow and Irene Crutchfield; and his great-grandparents, Richard and Essie Bea Savell.
He is survived by: his daughter Brooke Douglas; his granddaughters, Scarlett Rogers and Savannah Sauls; his mother Sybil Shaw (James); and his sister Lorie Holloway (Buster). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
