He is survived by: his children, Ronnie Kirkland, Donnie Kirkland, Malvia Kirkland and Brenda Tanner; and his siblings, Dorothy Bell, Glenda Nobles, Janice Hollingshed, Roy Kirkland and Ray Kirkland. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
