It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edwin L. Givens of Dothan, Alabama, who passed away on March 18, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, H. M Givens and Vera Givens (Kirkland); his significant other Ann (Ann) of Crawford; and his siblings, David, Buford, Herlon, Winfred, Kenneth, Bessie Riley, Hilda Enfinger and Jewel Hughes.
He is survived by: his children, Chris Lee of San Diego, Kathy Ann Galea (Charlie) of San Diego, Gary Manuel Givens (Peggy) of Cottonwood, AL and Carol Joan Goguen (Brian) of Dothan, AL.; his grandson Aldon Garrett Givens (Rebecca) of Columbia, SC; and his stepgrandson Jared Etress (Jillian) of Cottonwood, AL. He is also survived by children; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Highland Park United Methodist Church General Fund, 1619 S. Park Ave., Dothan, AL 36301.
